About the founder
Alto was founded by Emir, a product designer with over a decade of experience designing digital products, websites, and systems for startups and growing companies across Europe and the United States. With a background in product design and hands-on development, Emir brings a holistic understanding of how design decisions impact users, teams, and businesses. He has worked across the full lifecycle of digital products — from early discovery and strategy to polished UI, design systems, and production-ready handoff.
The idea for Alto emerged during a period of reflection in the mountains of central Europe — a moment of clarity that reshaped how work, purpose, and process should feel. That experience shaped Alto’s core values: clarity over noise, process over shortcuts, and thoughtful progress over constant urgency. Much like moving through alpine terrain, we believe in steady steps, intentional decisions, and respecting the path as much as the destination.
